I spent spring break in magical disney world! I loved every moment of it and got to spend it with the most amazing ladies. I love them and I'm so happy I know them better now :)

I spent most of the week awkwardly filming basically every moment of the trip.

Wow I'm on a blogging rush.

Its crazy how much I Have NOT posted in March.

Here are updates:

1. I attended Disney World this spring break in Florida. It was so amazing and I grew so close to some amazing ladies. best week ever.-im trying to figure out how to post the video i made here on my blog..but its not working for some reason...

2. I turned 18 on March 14th. It was a pretty lovely day. I was reminded so fully how many amazing people I have in my life and how blessed I am to have so many that I care about and who love me.

3. ON my birthday, I was asked to prom by this super awesome guy named Alex.  We have been friends since middle school and I know we will have such a great time! He asked me by creating this super cute video that incorporated 4 amazing disney movies :) it was awesome.

4. I've learned a few hard lessons

5. I've mended a few heartbreaks

6. I'm learning to let go of things I cannot control...and its hard.

7. My sister anna made my graduation invitations and I will be sending them out shortly:)

8. I had my first MHS swim meet...oh dear swimming is hard. did you know? MHS got 2nd overall at the meet! woo!

9. my friend Summer and I got spray tans for the fun of it...that was interesting

10. I had my LAST general Young Women meeting for the chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints last night...it was amazing as it always is

but yes this is my life :) and I love it.

Tonight I am celebrating Easter with my wonderful family at my grandparents house. <3

Oh how I love friends.

My best friend Mara who lives in Germany messaged me the other day.

I just love her so dearly.

we met my sophmore year while she was an exchange student.  I think the world of her and miss her everyday.
Technology is so amazing. to think that she is half way around the world and I can contact her with the push of a button. We are so blessed to live in the time that we do.

I sometimes am scared that she and I will drift apart because we arent together and we dont talk every day...but then I remember how amazing she is and what a perfect friend she is. Never judging, but never afraid to tell me I need to think twice. She is so supportive and caring of everyone.  She makes me want to be better.

He is Risen

Happy Easter everyone!

What a golrious day it is! I am so thankful for the Atoning sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I love Him so dearly.

It is amazing what He has done for us. Every heartache, every pain, every sin, every sorrow is taken care of.  He loves us, He knows us and He died for us. And He is Risen! What a glorious gospel His is.

 

 

This video is one of my absolute favorites.  It demonstates the love our Savior had for us, to die for us and to suffer so much agony and pain....

words cannot express how much I love Him. 

A thought I always get when I watch this video is this:

When I get to the part where the Savior is suffering the Atonement in the Garden, I see the pain on His face, the blood stained on his robes...how much he suffered...then I see Him being whipped and beaten by men who dispise and mock and spit upon Him...and I think...He suffered for them too.  He loves all God's children with such an immense love that can never be understood here on this Earth.  after I think of that, it is so easy to love others. It is so easy to see that God loves them so much, and I should love them as well.

 

Then I see the joy on Mary's face as the pure and resurrected Christ steps forward.

What hope and what joy this gospel brings!! I love it with all my heart and I am so grateful for my God and my Savior.

experiences

I am so blessed.

sometimes I forget that.

I rant in my journal or to my friend Savannah on the way to school from seminary every morning about how much High School stinks and how I just cannot wait to leave...

But then I have experiences like tonight.

Where I go and talk with my wonderful Branch President about the amazing and pure love Christ has for us.

When I write an essay about the most wonderful class offered at Manhattan High-IPS

When I get to talk to my sister

When I am reminded as to how blessed I am.
