Meagan :)

this is my friend Meagan <3 I love her to bits!! We had a lovely day today and went to TOPEKA. 

We took my brother to his dentist appt. and went to a fabulous lunch and then went SHOPPING!! we went to Plato's closet and got tons of awesome dealios. 

I just love Meagan. She is so sweet and makes me smile. I will miss her so dearly when I leave for Idaho. <3

Today was rainy and wonderful. I absolutely LOVE Kansas rain, especially in the summer. It makes me feel fresh and happy. 

My mom helped me pack a lot today. Most everything is in boxes or suitcases.  While I was packing away some shoes, mom came out of my room holding my favorite stuffed bear.  Her name is Princess, I got her for my 8th birthday.  Whenever a storm came or the power went out in my house, I would always grab a snack, a flashlight and princess before I headed downstairs.  Her fur is very course and her beaded stuffing sags in the middle, but she is so special. My mom asked if I would be taking her with me... I thought that would be an easy decision to make, but I feel like Andy on Toy Story when he left for college.  There are so many memories I have with this bear....but I think its time to go on my own and face the storms with out her.

Abinidi

My favorite book in the Book of Mormon is the book of Mosiah.  I love it. It gives me so much hope to become better.  

One of the true stories is about a man named Abinidi.  He is amazing.  He was called of God to preach to a city under the command of a wicked king named Noah.  He preaches the gospel to this King and his councilors in chains after he is captured.  They cannot harm him in any way until he has finished his preaching...and once he does, he is burned at the stake.  Abinidi did not live to see any success from his preaching.  But, because of his words, one of king Noah's councilors named Alma became converted, and brought so many more to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  What an amazing man Abinidi was, to be willing to die to preach the wonderful message of Jesus Christ.  I am grateful to him and Alma for being courageous enough to share the gospel so that we can have it today.

packing

My room is a disaster.
I am digging my way to my door every day.
Packing is rough.
1st off....its annoying.  I DONT KNOW WHAT I WANT OR NEED!! and things I haven't used in like a year seem to be very important to pack for some reason.
2nd off...its kind of sad.  Its actually really sad to see all my things leave this room.  I go through so many things and memories surface so easily...I've been through a lot in this house. It's seen my tears, my triumphs...and its sad to think I will be moving on from that.

But change is also good.

and I am ready to start living my life in a new place and making new memories.

This past weekend, my brother Parker was in a musical called "A year with Frog and Toad"  it was about two friends (a frog and a toad) and their year of fun and adventure before hibernation.  Parker was a part of the LIZARD chorus. He was super cute along with all the other kids! but I thought parker was the coolest. (Mom made his Awesome costume)

Oh hello!
My friend Summer had a birthday. She turned 18. She is such a lovely girl and I am so blessed to know her! Well, for her birthday, a friend named Patrick suggested we throw her a SURPRISE PARTY! so that is what we did. Here are a million pictures of the event. sorry I don't have more. <3
