Today I am thankful

This week was lovely Thanksgiving. I absolutely love Thanksgiving and the wonderful spirit that it brings.  Every year we go to my grandparents house and our whole family gets together for turkey and creamed corn goodness.  This year however, we had two thanksgivings. We went to the Freeby's and we also had one at our church friend's house. It was quite lovely.

 

I am just so thankful for my wonderful life. I could not ask for a better one.  So often I think about how I can't wait to go to college and get on with my life...but I realized this year that this may be my last Thanksgiving at home...I couldn't believe it.   I am so grateful for my family and the traditions that we have.

 

I am also so thankful for the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ. I love Him and I love His church and its teachings.  I am thankful for His amazing gift of the Atonement, and words cannot express my love for Him because of it.

 

I am thankful for the missionaries that taught my parents

 

I am thankful for my nice things

 

I am thankful for my friends who lift me up and who are always there for me.

 

I am thankful for my trials

 

I am thankful for my blessings

 

I am thankful for the sunshine

 

I am thankful for the moon

 

I am thankful for memories

 

I am thankful for love

 

I am thankful for you.

I AM POSTING TO CELEBRATE.

I just completed my application to BYU and BYU-Idaho!!!! Oh my gracious that was exhausting. But I am so excited and thrilled to be done and the next thing that I have to worry about is my letter!

(Hopefully of acceptance).

 

I was so excited I looked at the “I’m already accepted” video ha-ha and Look who I found!!

 

 

 …well ok it won’t let me download it but it was my

 in a picture my sista took! What a cool thing.  My whole family came in when I said he was in a video and we had to watch it like 4 times.

It was great.

 

But anyway that is why I have not been posting as much as I should. But I will get better.

 

ALSO. Did you notice Anna’s awesome work she did to my blog?!?    I love it.

 

 

Celebrate

It's thanksgiving break!!!! At Long last. I was ready for today a long time ago. To celebrate: we are having the missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over for dinner! And then I am headed to summers for a movie night! Woo! I am getting more and more excited for thanksgiving As the days go by!
I am thankful for this day. <3

Im not sure why I am being so lame all the time with blogging.

here is an update in claire's life:

I have added TACO TUESDAYS with my friend Carly.  We go to taco bell every tuesday and always get the fresco taco, I get soft and she gets crunchy. its super good and only 200 calories for 2!! what a steal.

I had a varsity and jazz band performance yesterday. It was so fun and no pressure! also the guy i'm secretly in love with (like a celebrety) sang a solo aaannnddd I melted so fast.

Oooo! and Varsity got a photoshoot! here is the picture of my lovely familia:

 

we are cute huh? we are very big though so its hard to see our faces...

 

I also had my tennis banquet--therefore it is OFFICIALLY the end of tennis season

...at long last.

 

I will play for fun now...i dont think ever again for competition. Its too brutal and I get wayy to angry too fast.

 

my sister is practicing her blog skills so she is going to re-design my blog!! I'm excited and you should be tooo!!

I had my interviews for COLLEGE!!! what??? I know its crazy.

I finnished up the musical and I miss it so much. I made such fun friendships that I'm scared will end along with it.

This week has been crazy.

The musical HOW TO SUCCEED is going on right now.  

I get to be blonde and it’s so fun.  I just cannot believe how absolutely worn out I am.

We only have one more performance- tomorrow. It will be so sad and so happy at the same time.  I have made some really wonderful friendships and strengthened old ones, so that I will miss.

Today I marched in a parade for VETERANS DAY! It was awesome to see all the service men and women on the street today, and I kept thinking about my dad who always says “thank you for your service” every time we pass one anywhere we are. 

Since I got to miss 4 hours of school….and all I had left for the day was choirs, aiding, and study hall…I decided to take the day off-with mothers permission.  I went to a cute store called acme gift and bought a cute flower for a friend who needed it and a super fun book

The book is kinda like a drawing journal, where it asks personal specific questions that you really wouldn’t think about and then you draw your answer. I thought It would be fun to have when I’m old and cranky so I can show my kids how cool I really am.

I ended up sitting in the park for 2 hours today filling it out.

It was a wonderful day to do it too.

I then had lunch at coldstone with Summer. We got cheesecake and strawberry ice cream mixed together. It was heavenly.

So I have been on blog strike.  The reason being is......

Do you remember that BIG PROJECT I was working on?  Well it took a long time to put it in motion.

something would always come up so that I wouldn't be able to accomplish the task.  BUT IT IS DONE!! so I am blogging to celebrate :)

The BIG PROJECT was painting pumpkins to ask one of my really awesome gangsta friends to the Girls choice dance, SUBDEB.

So here is what all transpired::

         picking the right pumpkins can be difficult. I ended up picking the one on the far left. good choice?

then I had to pick 7 little baby pumpkins for the letters: S U B D E B

this takes a lot of skill.
