behind

So in December of last year my sissy and I made this awesome thing off of pinterest
Its a daily journal that you write a line a day on for 5 years and then you compare throughout the time! isn't that cool?
...but I'm very behind.

I'm going through planners, journals, homework assignments and this blog to try and fill in the gaps :/

October 6, 2012

A mere 17 months

Words cannot describe how I am feeling right now!!!!!!

today was the beginning of General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
It comes up every April and October to hear from General Authorities of the Church about what we can do better and how we can better serve the Lord.

Today was a big day.

Dear President Monson has announced that the age to go on missions for Young men has been reduced from 19 to 18 and also reduced for women from 21 to 19!!!!!!

oh my goodness gracious. When this was announced, my heart swelled. I could not contain my joy as I hugged my mom and cried.

I have wanted to go on a mission for so long, and now it is that much closer.  I'm so thankful for missionary work and the joy and peace it can bring to accept Christ.
Thomas S. Monson

All day will I sing

"I hope they call me on a mission, when I have grown a foot or two I hope by then I will be ready to teach and preach and work as missionaries do."

My notes from today...and me as a missionary on a sticky note :)
17 MONTHS AWAY!

its tough to be a princess

yesterday was so fun!
I was nominated with 8 other wonderful senior girls to be a candidate for 2012 homecoming queen. Some people may be above getting super excited about something that doesn't really matter..but to tell you the truth I'm not.

I didn't care about winning..I just like dressing up.

Here are a million photos:

this is the trombone section whom I love. I marched before half time

Summer (also a candidate) my date, Patrick, and Nick <3

summer did my hair in like  5 min. because my hat for marching band ruined it

Ethan! he is the kindest person you will ever meet. He is escorting one of my tennis partners Caroline

Pat and I were so nervous we would fall

I'm so glad he was my date. he was so fun.

Summer!!!

they said that that were practicing their fake smiles on the field. haha

Sweet Bailey won Queen! she is so sweet and I'm so glad she won.
A cool football player won King, but since he was playing football my friend Calen accepted it for him haha he was surprised.

then I marched in my dress.

it was so cold.
