This evening, I had the pleasure on going on several adventures with my friend Josh and his roommates! We went all over, but one of my favorites was the Mesa waterfalls! It was so beautiful! God's creations are so beautiful!

While we were in Utah, we stayed with our friends' parents! We met the Raricks in Manhattan while Brother Rarick was Anna and my Seminary teacher. We babysat these lovely kids a lot.  Today I move in with them! I am very excited. These kids can make me smile all day long!

Molly and Naomi and I had fun in Utah with my photo booth camera one night.  There are a million more of these, haha but these are some of my favorites!

My favorite thing in life is being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

It is and always will be my greatest blessing in this life.  It gives me so much hope for the future, even with mistakes I've made in the past. It enlightens my mind about this life and the one to come. I know it is true.

On our trip to Utah, Anna Kent and I were able to visit the Salt Lake temple.  I got out of baptisms before they were done with their session, so I was able to walk around the grounds.  I talked to my mom about the power of the Atonement and the blessing of forgiveness. She helped me feel the love my Savior has for me.  I went around singing hymns to myself and saying silent prayers. I felt so much better about myself and why I am here in Idaho. I felt a sense of assurance from the Lord that I am His daughter, that He loved me no matter what, and even when I feel alone, I have Him with me always. What a blessing! I love this gospel so much.

This past few weeks have been crazy, wonderful, hard, and exciting.  My family left to go back to Kansas about 2 weeks ago (It doesn't seem like its been that long) but that was a lot harder than I thought.  While they were here, we did a lot of cool and adventurous things! We went down a river and visited Idaho Falls, and even went in an underground Ice cave! that was incredible

It was just me dad anna and parker who went. poor mom's knee hurt, and it was best she didn't come, it was crazy rocky!

I'm really sad to realize we didn't get a good family picture while the Freeby's were all together. But I love them and miss them, they are wonderful!

broken things to mend

Hello world! I am in Idaho still...its so strange being here. I love it a lot...but its hard.

I miss Kansas quite a bit...and I have this irrational fear that everyone will forget me and not care that i'm gone anymore...I know thats silly, but sometimes it's all I think about.

I think it will get a lot better when my life starts going again.  Right now I'm just kind of cooped up at home watching Monk all day.

Tonight, I have felt so discouraged.  Satan got ahold of me, telling me awful things.  things like there was no hope for me...that I could not find peace, that I am alone.  Many tears were spilt, and I felt like my heart was breaking.  I felt weak and drained.  I then stumbled on this wonderful message:

If any of you are troubled, in any way, watch this video.  It has provided me with new hope for my future.  Things get so tough, but the Lord is there! He wants us to come to Him, because He knows the way to happiness!

goodbye Kansas

Well, I am here! 19 hours, 8 movies and 9 pitstops later I am in Idaho! It is so nice here. The weather is absolutely amazing, and it just feels so homey.  I love being here with Anna especially :)

But I am feeling very homesick.  I didnt think I would this much, but I am realizing how blessed I was to have the amazing friends I did, even more so now.  I miss them all terribly.  They did something so nice for me :) They threw me a SURPRISE PARTY just a few days before I left :) It was so sweet and I felt so loved!

It was so sweet and amazing that they would do that for me. I have the best friends in the world.

My friends Meagan and Carly gave me a super sweet present, and Summer gave me a beautiful scrapbook of us along with a cute book :)<3
